Good news and bad news within the post, I'll start with the good as it's the most exciting!
So, I took the opportunity to produce a response to a small brief 'Precious Cargo' surrounding the history of Hull's whaling and slavery trades, in the excitement of my research I ended up producing two pieces - which have both been selected to be exhibited in Ferens art gallery - fab or what!
Both pieces can be viewed on my blog - first on my typography page and the second on my info graphics. (They are the vertical pieces - will be pointed out in the brief descriptions though!) Dates to come on the public exhibition...pictures to follow!
The smaller piece of bad news is (which I should have expected really), both the clients I was hoping to work with on the live briefs have not messaged back, thus giving me the impression they're not interested! Not for the want of trying, oh well - more time to focus on uni work!
